Syracuse Youth Hockey Association is Central New York's premier Tier-II (NY "AA" Level) travel youth ice hockey program based in Toyota Coliseum at the NY State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, NY. Our state-bound (tournament bound) teams compete in the Central Section of NY State Amateur Hockey Association (NYSAHA) as well as the Western NY Amateur Hockey League (WNYAHL) with the goal of advancing not only to NY State tournament play, but to regional & national competition as well.  Our objective is to develop players to reach their goal of playing at the next level, whether their goal is to be an impact player for their respective high school team, move up to AAA travel, prep school, juniors or college.

We field travel teams in the Squirt (9U/10U), Pee Wee (11U & 12U), Bantam (13U & 14U) and Midgets (15U, 16U & 18U) levels with single birth-year player teams. We offer our players a high level of competition against other travel (competitive) hockey organizations in New York, Canada (eastern Ontario) and surrounding areas.

Tryout Schedule: The tryout cost is $40 per player pre-registration and $50 at the door. 

Bantam 13U – Saturday May 15 @ 2:00 pm & Sunday May 16 @ 1:00 pm @ Coliseum

Bantam 14U – Saturday May 15 @ 3:30 pm & Sunday May 16 @ 2:30 pm @ Coliseum

Midgets 15U – Saturday May 15 @ 5:00 pm & Sunday May 16 @ 4:00 pm @ Coliseum

Midgets 16U – Saturday May 15 @ 5:00 pm & Sunday May 16 @ 7:00 pm @ Coliseum

Midgets 18U –  Saturday May 15 @ 6:30 pm & Sunday May 16 @ 5:30 pm @ Coliseum
